Tackle It Tuesday #57: Wedding Rings
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! I really like the traffic. Be sure to leave me a comment so that I know you stopped by!Consider "stalking" me? I am not one to take off my wedding rings for anything. Okay, unless you count pregnancy, but even then I have a thick gold band that we bought specifically for that time.
After a while of washing dishes, handling dirty diapers, and others life chores, my rings will develop some dirt on them. They very obviously lose their shine when they're dirty. Quite often they'll even have a little bit of gunk on them. Ewww...
Before

To clean my wedding rings, I use an old electric toothbrush. Okay, it's not "old", it's mine. But I'll use an old attachment.
Get your toothbrush wet and add toothpaste. I swear toothpaste is the best ring cleaner ever. It really works for me!

Lather it up real well focusing on all the dirty areas and crevices.

Rinse.

All clean.

After

Like my nails? I gave myself a pedi for our Halloween Party, which matched my original costume, but then that changed last minute, so it really didn't matter.
I chose purple to do the flowers on my toes, but think I should have stuck with black. It just wasn't as bold. Live and learn.
I ended up cutting them all the following morning anyways (hence the ring cleaning photos). They had hit my limit for typing and diaper changes in length. When my nails hit a certain length, I have to clip them all or they forever drive me bonkers. That was the length right there.
